Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 12 October 2026 (Moksh PDF Editor added; the SharoX text is unchanged since 2 July 2026)
SharoX
These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern the purchase and use of the SharoX desktop software ("Software") provided by MokshX Private Limited ("MokshX", "we", "us"), having its office at C-403, Zee Corporate Park, Vile Parle East, Mumbai – 400057, Maharashtra, India. By purchasing, activating, or using the Software you agree to these Terms.
1. The Software
SharoX is a Windows desktop application for tracking and comparing the shareholding of listed companies from RTA/CDSL/NSDL files. The Software runs entirely on your computer; your shareholder data files remain on your PC and are not uploaded to us.
2. Trial
A free, fully functional 10-day trial is provided so you can evaluate the Software on your computer before purchasing.
3. Licence
- On payment, MokshX issues a licence key bound to one computer (machine-locked), with the project limit of the plan you purchased.
- The licence is non-exclusive and non-transferable, except that we will re-issue your key for a replacement computer on request at no charge.
- You may not copy, resell, rent, sublicense, reverse-engineer, decompile, or redistribute the Software, or circumvent its licensing.
- Licences obtained through fraud, chargeback, or payment reversal may be suspended or revoked.
4. Fees, annual subscription & taxes
- One-time setup: ₹1,25,000 + 18% GST (= ₹1,47,500). This includes the first year of use, updates and support.
- Annual subscription (required from the 2nd year): ₹18,000 + 18% GST per year (= ₹21,240/year). This renewal is required to continue using the Software after the first year.
- Grace period: if the subscription is not renewed by the expiry date, a 15-day grace period applies during which the Software keeps working and warns you. After the grace period ends, the Software will stop opening until you renew. Your data is never deleted — it stays on your computer and is available again the moment you renew.
- There is no auto-debit; you renew manually each year. Prices are as listed on the order page at the time of purchase, plus applicable government taxes (GST).
5. Updates & support
While your first year or a paid annual subscription is active, you receive software updates and email support at [email protected].
6. Your data & backups
Your shareholder data is stored locally on your computer. The Software includes backup tools (manual, scheduled, and update-time backups); you are responsible for maintaining backups of your data and your licence recovery information.
7. Warranty disclaimer
The Software is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, MokshX disclaims all implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. We do not warrant that the Software will be error-free or uninterrupted.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, MokshX's total liability arising out of or relating to the Software is limited to the fees you paid to MokshX in the 12 months preceding the claim. MokshX is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses, or for loss of data caused by failure to maintain backups.
9. Termination
We may terminate a licence for material breach of these Terms (including licence circumvention or non-payment). Sections 6–8 survive termination.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at Mumbai, Maharashtra have exclusive jurisdiction.

Moksh PDF Editor
Terms for Moksh PDF Editor · last updated: 12 October 2026
These terms govern the download, purchase and use of Moksh PDF Editor (the "App"), a Windows desktop PDF and photo editor made by MokshX Private Limited ("MokshX", "we", "us"), including its paid plans and the AI Pack. By installing, activating or using the App you agree to them. The SharoX terms above do not apply to the App.
1. The App and the free version
The App runs on Windows 10 and 11 (64-bit). The free version costs nothing, has no time limit, needs no account and adds no watermark. MokshX grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and use the App in line with these terms. The free version is also your trial: please use it to check that the App works with your files and on your PC before you buy a paid plan.
2. Paid plans and how long they last
Paid plans unlock more features on one PC per licence key. What each plan contains is described on mokshx.net/pdf-editor and the AI Pack page at the time you buy.
- Pro (one-time) — the Pro tools on one PC in every 1.x and 2.x version of the App, including the free updates released within those versions. It does not expire.
- Pro (1 year) — the Pro tools on one PC for 365 days from the day the key is issued. It then expires.
- AI Pack (one-time) — the AI tools on one PC in every 1.x and 2.x version. New and improved AI models released during the first year after the key is issued are included. Models you have installed keep working even if you do not buy AI Updates.
- AI Updates (optional, yearly) — after the first year, the new and improved AI models released during each year you pay for.
- Pro + AI Pack (one-time) — both of the above on one PC, with one key.
- Business packs (3 or 10 PCs) — Pro + AI Pack (one-time) on up to 3 or 10 PCs, with one key per PC. It is not a floating or site licence. Keys for PCs you add later are issued when you send us their request codes with your order or payment ID.
- Exam Pass (7 days) — Pro + AI Pack on one PC from the day the key is issued through the 7th day after (bought on 1 March, it works until 8 March). It is offered in exam season, as shown on the buy page.
"One-time" covers the 1.x and 2.x major versions. A later major version (3.0 or above) may need a new or upgrade purchase; your licence keeps working with the versions it covers. Yearly plans and the Exam Pass do not renew by themselves and nothing is debited automatically. When a plan ends, its features lock again; the free version and your files are not affected. Setting the PC's clock back does not extend a plan.
The AI Pack page lists the AI tools included today. If we add AI tools later, they reach AI Pack owners as App updates within the versions their licence covers; we do not promise new tools or dates, so please base your purchase on the tools that are available when you buy.
3. Licence and activation
- On payment, MokshX issues a licence key for the PC whose request code you sent us. It gives you a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence (except as set out in section 4) to use the features of your plan on that one PC for as long as the plan lasts.
- Activation is offline: in the App, open Activate licence (press Ctrl+K and run Activate licence…, or open Settings → Licence → Activate…), copy the request code, send it to us by email to [email protected] (or on the buy page once online payment opens), and paste the key you receive into the same dialog. A key made for one PC does not work on another.
- Each key is digitally signed by MokshX and contains its licence ID and the name given at purchase. Keep your keys private.
- When it is online, the App downloads MokshX's signed revocation list about once a day (also in the free version). A key that has been refunded, reversed by a chargeback, obtained by fraud, or shared or sold in breach of these terms may be added to that list; its paid features then stop working.
4. Moving to a new PC
- A licence cannot be sold or given to another person or organisation.
- You may move a licence to a new PC of your own once in any 12 months, free of charge: deactivate it on the old PC (Activate licence → Deactivate), then email the new PC's request code with your order or payment ID to [email protected] or [email protected]. We issue a key for the new PC, and the key for the old PC is revoked.
- Further moves within the same 12 months are at our discretion, for example after a hardware failure or theft.
- If the request code of the same PC changes (for example after Windows is reinstalled), write to us and we will reissue the key; such reissues are at our discretion and normally free.
- The owner of a Business pack may move its keys between its own PCs on the same terms, one key per PC.
5. Acceptable use
You must not:
- circumvent, disable or tamper with the App's licensing — for example by patching the App, using key generators or edited licence files, setting the clock back, or using a key that has been revoked;
- sell, resell, rent, share or publish licence keys, or use one key on more PCs than it covers;
- reverse-engineer or decompile the App, except to the extent the law allows despite this restriction;
- use the App to forge documents, signatures or seals, to unlock files you are not entitled to open, or for any other unlawful purpose.
Nothing in this section limits what the open-source licence of a component or model allows you to do with that component or model (see section 6).
6. AI Pack and model licences
- The AI tools use third-party open models that their authors publish under the Apache-2.0, MIT or BSD-3-Clause licences. The App includes each model's licence and notice, and the AI Pack page lists every model with its authors, licence and source. Listing a model does not mean its authors endorse the App or MokshX.
- Those licences govern the model files, and nothing in these terms restricts what they permit. The AI Pack price pays for the App's AI tools built around the models, the one-click download, hosting and updates — not for exclusive rights in the models.
- After activation the models are downloaded once from dl.mokshx.net (for two small files, the U²-Net-p background-removal model and the YuNet face-detection model, from a public copy on GitHub if the download from our server fails), and each file is checked against its SHA-256 fingerprint before it is used. The tools then run offline on your PC.
- Speed, and which models are offered, depend on your PC: smaller PCs automatically get lighter models.
- Open-source components included in the App remain under their own licences.
7. Check every result before you rely on it
OCR, the AI tools, conversions, bank-statement and GST e-invoice extraction, compress-to-KB, exam-photo presets and the automatic detection of PAN, Aadhaar and other numbers for redaction are automated and can make mistakes: a misread character, a wrong figure or column, a missed item, or lower quality than you need.
- You must check every output before you rely on it or submit it to a government portal, tax authority, bank, court, exam body, client or anyone else — in particular figures exported to Excel or Tally, and that everything that should be redacted has been redacted before you share a file.
- Size and format presets follow the requirements published by the relevant body as we understood them when the App was released. Those requirements change; the body's current instructions prevail.
- Keep a copy of your original documents before you edit, compress or redact them.
- MokshX is not responsible for a rejected application or filing, a penalty, a missed deadline or any other consequence of an output that was not checked.
8. Digital signatures and DSC tokens
- You are responsible for your digital signature certificate (DSC), USB token or .pfx file: that it is valid, that you are entitled to use it, that its PIN or password stays secret, and for every document signed with it.
- Signing happens on your PC. Your PIN and private key are not sent to MokshX, and MokshX cannot recover a PIN or revoke a certificate — contact your certifying authority for that.
- Trusted timestamps come from the public timestamp server you choose in Sign with certificate (DigiCert, Sectigo, GlobalSign or SSL.com), and certificate-status information (CRL / OCSP) from the addresses in the certificate, normally its certifying authority. They are contacted only when you ask for them. MokshX does not control these services or guarantee that they are available.
- Whether a signed document is legally valid or accepted depends on your certificate, the applicable law (including the Information Technology Act, 2000) and the rules of the portal or person receiving it. A signature check in the App reflects the trust settings and status information available to the App at that moment.
9. Internet use and updates
The App works offline, needs no account and sends no telemetry or crash reports. It goes online only to check for updates (at most once a day, the first time shortly after it starts, and when you click Check now; you can switch automatic checks off in Settings, and an update is downloaded and installed only when you choose and only if it is signed by MokshX Private Limited), to download the signed revocation list (about once a day, also in the free version; this cannot be switched off), to download the AI models and OCR language packs you choose, and — only when you ask — to obtain timestamps and certificate-status information for digital signatures. Details are in the Privacy Policy.
10. Prices, payment and GST invoices
- Prices are in Indian rupees and include 18% GST. The price that applies is the one shown on the buy page when you pay (for a purchase by email, the price in our reply, which follows the buy page). Launch offers and other prices may change at any time; a change does not affect a licence already bought.
- Online payment is not open yet. Until it opens, you can buy by email: send the plan you want and your request code (section 3 shows where to copy it) to [email protected]. We reply with UPI or bank-transfer details and a GST invoice, and email the licence key once the payment is received, usually within one working day. These terms, including the refund policy, apply to purchases by email in the same way.
- Once online payment opens, payments on the buy page are processed by Razorpay (UPI, cards, net banking). MokshX never receives your card number, UPI PIN or banking password.
- MokshX Private Limited issues a GST invoice for every purchase. Give your GSTIN at checkout or in your email for a B2B invoice; if the details you gave are wrong, we may correct them with a credit note and a new invoice.
- Licence keys are delivered digitally, as set out in our Refunds, Cancellation & Delivery Policy.
11. Refunds and cancellation
Refunds, cancellation and delivery of Moksh PDF Editor licences are covered by our Refunds, Cancellation & Delivery Policy, which forms part of these terms. When a purchase is refunded, its key is revoked.
12. No warranty
The free version lets you test the App before you pay. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the App, the AI Pack and every output they produce are provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and accuracy. We do not warrant that the App will be error-free or uninterrupted, or that it will work with every PC, file, token or portal. Nothing in these terms removes rights you have as a consumer that the law does not allow to be excluded.
13. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, MokshX's total liability arising out of or relating to the App, any plan or these terms is limited to the price you paid MokshX for the licence concerned. MokshX is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss; loss of profit, data or documents; rejected applications or filings; penalties or interest; or loss caused by an output you did not check, by a lost or misused DSC or PIN, or by not keeping backups. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
14. Suspension and termination
You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it. We may revoke a licence if you materially breach these terms (including circumventing the licensing, selling or sharing keys, fraud or a payment reversal). Revocation switches off the paid features on that PC; it does not delete your files. Sections 6, 7, 8, 12, 13 and 16 survive termination.
15. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms; the new version will be posted here with a new date. A change does not reduce the features or the duration of a plan you bought before it.
16. Governing law and courts
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at Mumbai, Maharashtra have exclusive jurisdiction. This does not affect any right you have as a consumer to approach a consumer commission under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.
